Today Quintic Capital, LLC a private equity firm announced the formation of its initial Fund designed to invest in small and medium sized North American Product companies. The $10 million dollar fund is focused on product companies in consumer, industrial, medical supply and business services industries.

Adrian LaTrace one of the two Managing partners of Quintic Capital explained where the company name originated from and the tie in to investments of this type. "Quintic relates to the notion of fifth degree equations which can not be solved through a polynomial expression in the same way that lower degree equations can. As in business, one single formula can not resolve quintic equations. Business is complex.
