Carl Baranowski

Carl Baranowski is an attorney with over 20 years of practice experience. He is founder and President of CorpMaster LLC, a development-stage provider of Web-based knowledge management services to corporate and private counsel. Mr. Baranowski was formerly Director of Worldwide Best Practices at Akin, Gump, Strauss, Hauer & Feld, L.L.P. He has also served as counsel at Jabil Circuit, Inc., Dorsey & Whitney LLP, Honeywell Inc. and Gateway, Inc. and was also a software business development manager at Texas Instruments Incorporated. Mr. Baranowski has extensive experience representing high-technology companies and start-up ventures. He is co-author of a popular reference book for attorneys in this field, Representing High-Tech Companies (Law Journal Press, 1999, 2006). In 1979, he received two Bachelor of Science degrees and a Master of Science degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Mr. Baranowski received his J.D. from Stanford University in 1983, where he also earned an M.B.A. Carl is originally from upstate New York, and enjoys hiking and camping. He and his wife, Ellen, reside in St. Petersburg, Florida and have eight children, ages 10 through 26, and are expecting their first grandchild.
